Currently, I’m a freelance photojournalist and filmmaker based in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2024, I graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in journalism and cinema and a minor in history. During my time in college, I was a managing visuals editor, films editor, photojournalist and filmmaker at The Daily Iowan. As a part of The Daily Iowan Documentary Workshop, I also helped produce two feature-length films, one of which I served as an assistant director, and a photo book on the Iowa women’s basketball team, where I served as a producer and photojournalist.

Previously, I’ve worked as a full-time visual journalist for the Clarion Ledger and photo intern for The Minnesota Star Tribune, MLive/The Flint Journal, The Des Moines Register and The Oskaloosa Herald. My work has garnered recognition from the Eddie Adams Workshop, the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund, CPOY, SPJ, ACP, the Iowa Newspaper Association and the Michigan Press Photographers Association.
